In 2008 Owain was commissioned to write a One Act Opera with words by poet Mei Mac.
The vision was to introduce opera to a housing estate in Caernarfon and completely transform their after school club into a theatre. The children got the opportunity to write and perform along side professional musicians and opera singers.
